RiverCamps Plan Selection Packet

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the design process take?

Most projects go from signed contract to permit-ready drawings in approximately 4 months. Projects in exclusive communities with architectural review may take slightly longer.

Do I need to be local to work with you?

Not at all. Most of our clients are out-of-state. We handle everything remotely and schedule site visits as needed. We use 3D renderings and video calls to keep you fully engaged throughout the process.

What neighborhoods are you approved to design in?

We are on the preferred designer lists for WaterColor, Windmark Beach, Watersound, Watersound Camp Creek, Seaside, RiverCamps at Crooked Creek, and several other exclusive Gulf Coast communities.

Can you help with construction too?

Yes. Through our sister company Artisan Structures, LLC, we offer full construction management and custom build services. It is a seamless extension of the design process.

What is the difference between custom design and pre-designed plans?

Custom design is built entirely around your vision, site, and lifestyle. Pre-designed plans are ready-to-purchase drawings that can be adapted to your lot. We offer both - ask us which is right for your project.

What happens if I want to make changes mid-project?

Scope changes are billed at cost plus 18%. We keep these to a minimum through thorough upfront planning, and we will always communicate clearly before any additional charges are incurred.
